Hello peeps! It has been a long while since I last posted or updated you on what is going on. Do I even still have readers at this point? Whether you are a loyal reader who is still around or a new reader who happened to have stumbled upon my site: Welcome!
It’s been over a year since I did a proper post and so much has changed. I am currently in school. The semester just ended so I am taking some time off to relax. I was originally going to go full tilt in summer school, but after some reflecting I decided to take the summer off. I will be beginning a program to become a licensed practical nurse in the fall and if I go with a full course load this summer, chances are I will be exhausted and quite possibly burn out by the time November rolls around. Not something I could afford in the middle of a demanding, intensive 2 year program.
The kids are growing up. Mac will be 3 and a half next month and the boys are now 2. I can’t believe I will be registering Mac for school come January. How time flies! I am still on the fence about home schooling. Homeschooling would require one of us to be at home, so realistically speaking I am not sure that is in the cards for now.
Our 10th wedding anniversary is right around the corner. It seems like Eric and I met just yesterday. Like all marriages, we’ve been through some awesome times and some rough patches. We persevered and will be celebrating this important milestone in a less than 2 weeks. Yay!
Our temporary abode in the apartment above my parents’ home has turned into a permanent one for the foreseeable future with me in school full time for the next 2 years. We decided to stop being in denial and finish unpacking. In order to feel like our home, we decided to spruce things up and give the place a fresh coat of paint this summer and hang our pictures and art.
Like this blog, my YouTube channel has been dormant as well. It is perhaps time to start it up again. I am tentatively vlogging, but frankly my life really is not interesting enough to vlog these days. We shall see what happens.
And on that note, I bid you all a good day. Hope to see you all back soon!
